Music from the world in the ancient village of Montiano
A free entrance multi-show in the village of Montiano.
From 6 p.m. a free workshop on Middle East percussions and dance for children and kids, led by dancer Sabrin Hasbun.
At 9.15 p.m. and again at 11.30 p.m. the virtuoso uilleann bagpipe player Massimo Giuntini and at 10.15 p.m. Maram Oriental Ensemble, Italo-Palestinian group led by Taisir Masrieh.

Sirtos Ensemble (Greece)
Opening night with Sirtos Ensemble, one of the best traditional European groups, on the international scene for over two decades. They come from the Isle of Crete and they know how to convey the most characteristic moods of their native land: melting ballads and sweeping rhythms in a series of intriguing Greek songs and dances, among which the most famous sirtaki.

Trio Contempo (Argentina)
Guitarist Roberta Roman, bandoneon player Marisa Mercadè and cellist Isabelle Sajot offer a tango that projects itself into the future without soiling its own history. Fine performers, fly delicately over an area that ranges from Carlos Gardel and Matos Rodriguez's tradition to Astor Piazzolla's nuevo tango (new tango), on a path that winds up touching contemporary authors. Wonderful tangueros will dance on the sensual melodies of Trio Contempo.
